WHAT WE COLLECT
When you shop with us we collect: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing address; your order details; and technical information about your visit such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed. If you contact us we keep a record of that correspondence.
We do not see or store your full credit card number. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and PayPal, who handle card details directly.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
To process and deliver your order, to communicate with you about that order, to handle returns and warranty claims, to prevent fraud, to improve our website, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
To get your order to you we must share your name, delivery address and phone number with the supplier or fulfilment partner who ships it. Our current partners include:
CJ Dropshipping - a supplier and fulfilment business based in the People's Republic of China. Orders fulfilled by CJ mean your name, delivery address, phone number and, in some cases, technical data such as IP address and approximate location are disclosed to CJ Dropshipping and processed outside Australia.
Wefulfil Australia - a fulfilment partner operating from within Australia.
Printful - a print-on-demand fulfilment partner.
Shopify - our e-commerce platform, which stores our store data.
Australia Post and other carriers - for delivery and tracking.
We also share information where required by law.
OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE
As set out above, some of our fulfilment partners are located outside Australia, including in China. By placing an order you consent to your personal information being disclosed to overseas recipients for the purpose of fulfilling that order. We take reasonable steps to deal only with partners that state they meet appropriate data handling standards, but overseas recipients may not be subject to the Australian Privacy Act, and you may not be able to seek redress under Australian law for a breach by an overseas recipient.
If you do not wish your information to be disclosed overseas, please contact us at trade@commspartner.com before placing an order and we will tell you whether the item can be fulfilled from within Australia.
MARKETING
If you subscribe to our email list we will send you news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing trade@commspartner.com.
COOKIES
Our website uses cookies to keep your cart working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may stop working correctly.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep order and customer records for at least seven years to meet Australian tax and business record-keeping requirements.
ACCESS, CORRECTION AND COMPLAINTS
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it. Email trade@commspartner.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at trade@commspartner.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au
