Why the name
We buy well and sell well. No showroom, no shopping-centre rent, no sales floor to staff — so the price on the tag is the price a gadget is actually worth, not the price of the building it sits in.
What we actually do

Reuse is in our blood
Mottainai and Mazuma are in our blood.
Mottainai (もったいない) is a Japanese phrase meaning "what a waste" or "too good to waste" — a sense of regret at the loss of something that still had value in it. It means adding value rather than wasting it. Do good, deliver well.
Mazuma was first recorded in 1895–1900, from the Yiddish mazume, from Mishnaic Hebrew mĕzūmmānīm, "ready money" — from mĕzūmmān, "prepared".
Our founder's background is in giving technology a second life. Good gadgets should be useful, fun and used, not landfilled.
Our group's trade-in service is coming next, so the gear you no longer need can pay for the gear you do — turning perceived waste back into value.
